Managing and cancelling your subscription
Where the subscription lives, what cancelling does, and what it does not undo.

The subscription belongs to the service, not to this site
We are a promoter. Your account, your card details and your subscription sit with the service itself, so every change to them is made there. We cannot cancel a subscription for you, look up a charge, or see whether you have an account at all.
How to cancel
Through your account settings with the service, at any time. The published material is explicit that after cancellation no further charges apply.
What cancelling does not do
Three things worth being precise about, because each one costs somebody money every month:
- It does not refund past payments. Subscription fees already incurred stay charged.
- It does not pro-rate the current period. Cancel partway through a month and the fee for that month is not split according to the date you stopped.
- It does not preserve access. Nothing in the libraries is yours to keep.
When to cancel if you do not want to be billed again
Before the start of the next period. The charge is taken at the start of each period rather than at the end, so cancelling the day after a renewal means you have already paid for the month you are in and will keep access until it runs out.
Keep the confirmation
Whatever screen or email confirms the cancellation, keep it. It is the only record of when you ended it, and it is what you would refer to if a later charge appears.
